Contact Tracing: Inspiring Cultural Safety in Indigenous Communities

Index

In this 40-minute course, we’re going to equip you with the necessary tools to foster cultural safety when contact tracing in Indigenous communities. It describes communication barriers that public health care providers might encounter during contact-tracing interviews. To effectively address them, we also provide stories and scenarios for further context and engagement. Throughout this training, we’ll also provide knowledge checks and exercises to keep you on the right track.
